About Streetwise

Q-Ride Townsville

We are Brett and Verity Lavery, Q-Ride Townsville, owners of Streetwise Motorbike Training. We are passionate motorbike riders who enjoy everything about bikes, from watching GP bikes to the dust at the Finke.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads Program for motorbike licencing is called QRide and we are proud to be your local provider here in Townsville. We have been lucky enough to combine our passion for motorbikes with a love of training.

Q-Ride is a great program that helps give people the skills and the knowledge to keep safe when riding a motorbike.

We have called Townsville home for a number of years now. We are both originally from NSW, Brett from Albury and myself from Sydney. Brett grew up on and around motorbikes. His family owned and operated Cycle Country Motorcycles in Albury for many years and he has raced socially and competitively in dirt, flat track, enduro, and motocross events. He has also raced professionally in GP road racing. He still races for fun with Motards and won both the 2014 and 2015 Townsville 200.

I ride both dirt and road bikes with Brett but purely at a social level. My motorbike riding journey didn’t start till later in my life and am proof that it is never too late to start.

Given our passion for bikes and our love of training, we believe we provide the best Q-Ride program in Townsville along with other motorcycle training/workshops. Every day we ensure that we provide a relaxed, safe and comfortable training environment to help you achieve your goals. We have a great fleet of motorbikes and also incorporate technology such as GoPro’s to enhance your private lessons or advanced training.

If you want to know more, feel free to ring our office on (07) 4408 0050 or send us an email info@streetwisegroup.com.au.

We hope to see you at one of our training courses soon.

Thanks,

Brett & Verity
